Following a long period of necessary reflections and evaluations, the Ente Palio of Ferrara through its President Nicola Borsetti and its Executive Organ, according to the local government, have decided to officially fix the date of Sunday the 19th September 2021 to celebrate the Palio of Ferrara 2021 edition in Piazza Ariostea. As for the scheduling of the other celebrations (the Days in the Duke’s honour, Presentation of the Palii, the ceremony of the Blessing of the Palii and the Offering of the Candles, Young Flag Wavers Competition, the Ancient Flag Wavers Competition, the Historic Parade, the Propitiatory Dinners of the Contrade), various solutions are being studied and will be announced as soon as possible.
